Our Business
We're basically a 'clean freak' couple!
Dawn started a small cleaning busines in 1989 after the birth of our second child, Scott. It was a temporary solution to eliminate someone else raising our children. Within 12 months, she surpassed her old salary as a materials management supervisor. Meanwhile, Charlie was completely satisfied as being a computer operator of the mainframe at our local hospital...until Dawn broke her wrist and discovered his oppurtunity to become self employed.
We were a hit!
Our company grew and we surpassed any expectations that were made. We were continually asked to provide other personal and business services and eventually became what we are today.
Who We Are
Dawn was born in Basingstoke England and spent some of her childhood here in Saratoga Springs, but mostly grew up in England. As a young adult, she decided to settle here in the US. She and Charlie were married and raised their two sons in Wilton. Dawn is an accomplished mother, wife, daughter, and business owner all wrapped into one! She finished her high school education as an adult.
Today she’s focused on continuing to help run DC Latham & Company and persistently looks forward to new and challenging things to do…such as training her beloved Wheaten Terriers, Stella and Shamus! Besides dogs, Dawns interests include traveling, gardening, cooking, and attending or creating social gatherings.
Charlie is seventh generation to the Saratoga area…his GGGG Grandfather moved here with his wife from Providence RI in 1790. Charlie graduated from Ballston Spa High school and Adirondack Community College in Queensbury. He is basically a level-headed work-a-holic, but rarely missed a kids hockey game, family or friends event, and continued to take classes to enhance his knowledge for business.
Charlies interest are wide and varied. You can find him walking a trail in Wilton with his wife and dogs, throwing a bocce ball in the backyard, hopping on a boat in Lake George, or snapping photos of interesting places in The Capital District. He’s always amazed at different things you can do in Upstate NY.
